 FAQs 

  • Can I touch or go inside the cars?
    No, we operate a full 'no touching' policy to protect the vehicles on display. As you can appreciate these are peoples pride & joy and most have spent an awful lot of money building these cars and ensuring they are to show display standard. You can only enter a car with the owners full permission. Please be aware anyone found to be entering a car without permission or touching any display vehicle they will be removed from the venue and banned from our events. We hope you appreciate the affect these owners have put in and we must ensure they are kept safe.
  • Is there parking for those not on display?
    There is a large multi-story car park directly next to the venue which includes disabled parking with the venue entrance just a 2 minute walk away, these are charged at local rates. There is also a large variety of other car parks around the city centre which will vary in price.
  • Can I bring my dog?
    Due to the nature of our event we don’t allow any pets within the event apart from guide dogs.
  • Can I arrive on the day and show my car?
    No, all display vehicles must be pre-booked in advance via our website show and shine application page. Those chosen will be contacted a few weeks before the event.
  • Can I buy tickets on the day?
    Yes you can! We do recommend purchasing in advance to receive our discounted prices and to also gain entry into the event more smoothly avoiding additional queues. To purchase tickets via our ticket box office within the entrance of the venue. Our security team will guide you to the correct queuing lane for purchasing tickets. On the day tickets prices will be: Adult (16+ years) - £22 Child (10-15 years) - £12 Child (5-9 years) - £5 Under 4 years - Free *Tickets are subject to a 10% booking fee
  • Have a ticket issue?
    Tickets are operated by Ticket Quarter, should you have any ticketing issues please contact them directly by calling 0344 8000 410 open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (with the exception of bank holidays) or email customerservice@ticketquarter.co.uk As our tickets are managed by our supplier we are unable to support directly through ourselves.
  • Can you bring food & drink?
    Due to the venue rules, the public are not allowed to bring their own food & drink into the event. There will be a range of different outlets within the venue to purchase refreshments.
  • What time are the awards?
    Our end of show awards take place at 4pm on the main stage. Following this the show will finish at 4:30pm.
  • Can I smoke once I enter the event?
    You won't be able to smoke once you enter the event and any outdoors displays are also smoke free. You will however be able to come out of the event and use the smoking areas outside the venue and then regain entry. Please ensure you gain a re-entry pass to be allowed back into the venue from the stewards at the front door.
